Cleome platycarpa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan golden spiderflower. Nama ilmiah Cleome platycarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Torrey pada tahun 1857.
