Cleome stricta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania timur hingga Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Cleome stricta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Friedrich Klotzsch pada tahun 1958.
