Cleome strigosa merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Cleome strigosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wenceslas Bojer pada tahun 1868.
