Cleome tenella merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Cleome tenella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1782.
