Cleome tomentella merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Iran timur hingga Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Cleome tomentella diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Mikhail Grigoríevič Popov pada tahun 1916.
