Clermontia calophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Campanulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lava clermontia. Nama ilmiah Clermontia calophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Elfried Wimmer pada tahun 1943.
