Clethra arborea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Clethraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Clethra arborea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Aiton pada tahun 1789.
