Clethra canescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Clethraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan Malesia hingga Papua. Nama ilmiah Clethra canescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Caspar Georg Carl Reinwardt pada tahun 1826.
