Clethra macrophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Clethraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Veracruz, Puebla, Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Clethra macrophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Martin Martens pada tahun 1842.
