Clethra oleoides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Clethraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Clethra oleoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Louis Otho Williams pada tahun 1965.
