Clinopodium menthifolium subsp. ascendens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Macaronesia, Eropa, hingga Türkiye. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan ascending wild basil. Nama ilmiah Clinopodium menthifolium subsp. ascendens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Claude Thomas Alexis Jordan pada tahun 1999.
