Cnidoscolus aconitifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan chaya, tree spinach, atau treadsoftly. Nama ilmiah Cnidoscolus aconitifolius diperkenalkan oleh Philip Miller pada tahun 1923.
