Cnidoscolus quercifolius merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cnidoscolus quercifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1827.
