Cnidoscolus stimulosus merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Nama ilmiah Cnidoscolus stimulosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1845.
