Cnidoscolus tepiquensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Sinaloa, Jalisco, Nayarit). Nama ilmiah Cnidoscolus tepiquensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Julien Noël Costantin pada tahun 1944.
