Coccoloba venosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Karibia, Meksiko selatan, hingga Venezuela. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan false chiggergrape. Nama ilmiah Coccoloba venosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1759.
