Cochliasanthus caracalla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Cochliasanthus caracalla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christoph Jakob Trew pada tahun 1764.
