Cochlospermum angolense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Bixaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Angola hingga RD Kongo bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Cochlospermum angolense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1868.
