Coffea congensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan congo coffee. Nama ilmiah Coffea congensis pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1897.
