Cola porphyrantha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kenya tenggara hingga Tanzania timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cola porphyrantha diperkenalkan oleh John Patrick Micklethwait Brenan pada tahun 1985.
