Cola usambarensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Tanzania timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cola usambarensis diperkenalkan oleh Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1907.
