Colchicum cretense merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Colchicaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kriti (daerah pegunungan). Nama ilmiah Colchicum cretense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Werner Rodolfo Greuter pada tahun 1967.
