Coleochloa microcephala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Coleochloa microcephala diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernest Nelmes pada tahun 1953.
