Coleochloa virgata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Coleochloa virgata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1953.
