Coleocoma centaurea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Australia Barat bagian timur laut hingga Northern Territory. Nama ilmiah Coleocoma centaurea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1857.
