Coleostachys genipifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Malpighiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari French Guiana hingga Brazil utara dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Coleostachys genipifolia diperkenalkan oleh Adrien-Henri de Jussieu pada tahun 1840.
