Coleus crassus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Malawi (Gn. Mulanje). Nama ilmiah Coleus crassus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nicholas Edward Brown pada tahun 2019.
