Coleus defoliatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Coleus defoliatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Ferdinand Friedrich Hochstetter pada tahun 2019.
