Colpodium oreades merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Tanzania (Kilimanjaro). Nama ilmiah Colpodium oreades pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis (Gustav) Albert Peter pada tahun 1980.
