Columnea hirsuta merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Gesneriaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jamaika. Nama ilmiah Columnea hirsuta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
