Condea americana merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba timur, Puerto Rico, Kuba timur, Puerto Rico,Meksiko tenggara, hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Condea americana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Louis Marie Poiret pada tahun 2012.
