Corchoropsis sinensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (barat daya dan Sichuan selatan, Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Corchoropsis sinensis diperkenalkan oleh Stephen Troyte Dunn pada tahun 2020.
