Cordia dentata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Cordia dentata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Louis Marie Poiret pada tahun 1806.
