Coreopsis pulchra merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Alabama timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woodland tickseed. Nama ilmiah Coreopsis pulchra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frank Ellis Boynton pada tahun 1903.
