Cornus capitata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Cornaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pakistan hingga China selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bentham's cornel. Nama ilmiah Cornus capitata diperkenalkan oleh Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1820.
