Coronilla coronata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa tengah hingga Türkiye dan Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Coronilla coronata diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1759.
