Coronilla scorpioides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania hingga Iran dan Eritrea. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellow crownvetch. Nama ilmiah Coronilla scorpioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Daniel Joseph Koch pada tahun 1837.
