Corylopsis platypetala merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Hamamelidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan, Hubei, Anhui). Nama ilmiah Corylopsis platypetala diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alfred Rehder pada tahun 1913.
