Cosmos scabiosoides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Cosmos scabiosoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1818.
