Costus asteranthus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Costaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Costus asteranthus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Paul Maas pada tahun 1990.
