Costus comosus var. bakeri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Costaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Costus comosus var. bakeri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1972.
