Cota segetalis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Eropa selatan. Nama ilmiah Cota segetalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michele Tenore pada tahun 1974.
