Cotoneaster aitchisonii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afghanistan hingga Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Cotoneaster aitchisonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Camillo Karl Schneider pada tahun 1906.
