Cotoneaster rotundifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya hingga China bagian selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Cotoneaster rotundifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1829.
