Cotoneaster uniflorus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga Siberia dan Qinghai. Nama ilmiah Cotoneaster uniflorus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1830.
