Couepia insignis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Chrysobalanaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Bahia tenggara). Nama ilmiah Couepia insignis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Fritsch pada tahun 1890.
