Coutarea mollis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil selatan. Nama ilmiah Coutarea mollis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1834.
