Crambe gigantea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Crambe gigantea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Luis Ceballos y Fernández de Córdoba pada tahun 1969.
