Crassothonna cacalioides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Provinsi Cape hingga Lesotho. Nama ilmiah Crassothonna cacalioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 2012.
