Crassothonna discoidea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Crassothonna discoidea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Daniel Oliver pada tahun 2012.
